Subject: Workshop advice

Dear Members attending the Workshop on Sunday
 
Looking at the timetable for Sunday it is noticeable that it is 10 hours from start to finish.  Admittedly not as long as the 872 day siege of Leningrad itself - and resulting in considerably fewer deaths I hope, but still quite a long campaign for a non-professional orchestra.  I've so far fought off the idea of booking a St John Ambulance to be in attendance.
 
There are not many food outlets within walking distance from Ravens Wood School other than a Jet garage at the top of the road about one-two minutes walk away (cellist Marion Hitchcock's house is about 3-4 min's walk away but I don't know how well-stocked her fridge is).  It has been advertised for everyone to bring a picnic lunch but I'm thinking it might be advisable to pack an extra sandwich/banana etc. for a break later in the day and plenty of drinks as we won't finish until around eight o'clock in the evening. 
 
Those booking extra players who are not on the Members' email distribution list, please forward this advice on to them too.
