Subject: Christmas with Septura & Clemency Burton-Hill – time-limited 2-for-1 offer for Bromley Symphony Orchestra members

Dear Sir/Madam,

Septura will perform the Christmas music of three great composers – Bach, Handel and Tchaikovsky – along with some festive favourites, at Kings Place on 18 December at 7.30 pm. The highlight is sure to be our brand new arrangement of the Nutcracker, with BBC Radio 3's Clemency Burton-Hill narrating.

We hope this concert might be of interest to Bromley Symphony Orchestra members, and would be really grateful if you could circulate the flyer attached. I wanted to let you know that this week Kings Place are running a time-limited 'Bring a friend' offer, so you can get 2 tickets for the price of 1 – just use the promo code 'SEPTURA50' at checkout. Student tickets for this concert are just £5 with the promo code 'STUDENT5' (please remember to bring a valid NUS card).

Septura’s members are among the leading UK brass players, holding principal positions in the Royal Philharmonic, BBC Symphony, London Symphony and Philharmonia orchestras. The group is Ensemble in Residence at the Royal Academy of Music, and is recording a 10-disc series for Naxos Records.

Many thanks,

Simon Cox

Christmas with Septura & Clemency Burton-Hill

18th December 2017, 7.30pm
Kings Place, Hall 1
Tickets: £34.50-£16.50
2-for-1 offer with promo code 'SEPTURA50' £5 student tickets with promo code 'STUDENT5' More info and booking:

The seasonal celebration of Christmas has been the inspiration for so many great musical masterpieces, and brass instruments are a vital part of this festive musical fabric. In this concert Septura focus on some of the highlights of the rich Christmas canon – including Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, Handel’s Messiah and Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker. Where years of repetition have dulled the impact of these wonderful works Septura — described by BBC Music Magazine as 'dazzlingly polished' — illuminate them afresh, casting them in a brand new light through the unique and uplifting sound of the brass septet.

Septura are joined on stage by Clemency Burton-Hill, narrating the story of the Nutcracker.
